Love the comp4. Went from using my gyms stock ropes to this and have been seeing a big improvement in my dubs. Happy with my purchase!
LOVE the lightweight handles and performance of the rope. Followed the video directions but after a few feet hits during fast dubs the bare cable started to pull out of the hex screw. But, after a short conversation with someone at RPM they graciously sent me a coated rope at n/c! Can’t wait to try it. Moral of the story is if you have your dubs 100%, go with the bare cable for speed and lightweight. If you’re learning and need something a little less painful and forgiving, get a coated rope. Handle weight and bearing setup is a game changer, I just wish there was a more secure way to have the rope to handles than just a little hex screw pinching the cable. But I’m 230lbs and jump/whip fast so when I step on the rope accidentally it’s gotta be tough on the hex screw holding the cable.
The rope is fast, very non forgiving. This is not a beginners rope, I had higher expectations for it. The small screw that adjusts the length is annoying and has already falling out once, I adjusted it and so far it hasn’t come out. The steel rope is very stiff and a bit clunky, maybe with some break in it will loosen up.
I love the rope. It’s smooth and fast and has helped my double understanding feel much better during conditioning pieces. Also shout out to the support team. They responded quickly when I was having difficulty with my rope and were super helpful with the set up process.
Best Rope i've ever tried. Flying on those Double Unders
