Description
Our fastest cable option, the Bare Cable, comes standard on our Comp rope. And while speed takes priority here, there are some trade-offs in durability when compared to the Coated Cable.
You may need to replace the Bare Cable a bit more often, and you will only be able to use the Bare Cable on rubber gym flooring or similarly smooth surfaces.
In addition, our Colored Bare Cables are slightly different than the basic "Steel" in fabrication and color processing and, therefore, may feel slightly different in your hands, but their performance while jumping is virtually indistinguishable.
*NOTE: Due to the color treatment process of all colors besides "Steel", there may be a few small marks present or a slight curve in the cable when received. These WILL NOT affect the performance of the cable while jumping. However, if this is something you feel you may find unacceptable, we suggest sticking to the Steel color only. Thanks!

Trying to decide between cables? Read this...
There are a few factors to consider when deciding which cable option is best for you.
If speed is your top priority, you're an efficient jumper who's training indoors on rubber flooring, and you don't mind changing your cable a little more frequently, then the bare cable is perfect for you.
However, if durability and versatility are your top priorities, and you'd prefer a longer span between cable replacements, then the Coated or Scout cables are probably better options, just keep in mind that the Scout cable is heavier by design and is ONLY compatible with the Scout handles.
Also, while any option will accommodate any skill level, beginners often prefer the feedback that the Coated and Scout cables provide for learning timing and rhythm, as well as the durability they offer through the learning process.

Bare Cable Rope
Great product! Super wonderful customer service too!!
Best Rope
This is the ONLY rope I'll buy, tried and true.
It works!
It’s good just as instructions say don’t use this on concrete only rubber mats.
Super
Shipping was very fast. Great cable. Wears very well.
Much faster than coated ropes
The bare cable is durable and very fast, which takes a little getting used to. It takes very little effort to get the bare cable spinning and it gets on top of you quickly. In other words, your feet have to catch up to your hands. I would have given the cable a 5 star rating, but the ends tend to fray and pull out of the handle even when tightened down as much as possible. Might be able to avoid the issue with a bit of soldering on the cut end.
