Description
Our most versatile and most popular cable type, this is the cable that comes standard on all Session ropes. While a Coated Cable will certainly last longer on rough surfaces like concrete, their lifespan on such surfaces will range anywhere from a few workouts to a few months, depending on frequency of use, jumping technique, and how rough the surface is. We recommend trying to jump on a rubber mat or rubber flooring whenever possible.

Trying to decide between cables? Read this...
There are a few factors to consider when deciding which cable option is best for you.
If speed is your top priority, you're an efficient jumper who's training indoors on rubber flooring, and you don't mind changing your cable a little more frequently, then the bare cable is perfect for you.
However, if durability and versatility are your top priorities, and you'd prefer a longer span between cable replacements, then the Coated or Scout cables are probably better options, just keep in mind that the Scout cable is heavier by design and is ONLY compatible with the Scout handles.
Also, while any option will accommodate any skill level, beginners often prefer the feedback that the Coated and Scout cables provide for learning timing and rhythm, as well as the durability they offer through the learning process.

Love the rope, my double unders are really coming together!

Looks good
Looks and works good. Fast. (But, hurts when it catches me when I miss my double under jump... ouch, of course). I'm glad I bought 3 pack, so I can have new one handy next time this one wears out. Love it!

Solid
Just a solid staple to my CrossFit bag.. dependable.. love my rpm rope..

Great Rope! Lasts forever!
After buying an RPM rope about 5 years ago, I just now has to replace the cable! Great color selection too!
