Bare Cable
Our Bare Cables are the fastest option available, although there are some trade-offs in durability when compared to the Coated Cable.
**IMPORTANT: Due to the color treatment process of all colors besides "Steel", there may be a few small white marks present or a slight curve in the cable when received. These WILL NOT affect the performance of the cable while jumping. However, if this is something you feel you may find unacceptable, we suggest sticking to the Steel color only.

Scout Cable
- Only compatible with our Scout handles.
- 2x the weight of our coated cable
- Designed to work in perfect balance with our scout handles to purposely bring on fatigue

Trying to decide between cables? Read this...
There are a few factors to consider when deciding which cable option is best for you.
If speed is your top priority, you're an efficient jumper who's training indoors on rubber flooring, and you don't mind changing your cable a little more frequently, then the bare cable is perfect for you.
However, if durability and versatility are your top priorities, and you'd prefer a longer span between cable replacements, then the Coated or Scout cables are probably better options, just keep in mind that the Scout cable is heavier by design and is ONLY compatible with the Scout handles.
Also, while any option will accommodate any skill level, beginners often prefer the feedback that the Coated and Scout cables provide for learning timing and rhythm, as well as the durability they offer through the learning process.

Cable Disclaimer
- The life span of your cable will range from a couple months to a couple years, depending on how often you use it, what surfaces you jump on, and your skill level.
- Concrete and bare cables don’t mix. So if you’re after that bare cable speed, Be sure and always jump on a mat or rubber gym flooring to help your cable live its best life.
- Coated cables are more durable and can handle a little adventure every now and then, so if you’re new to jump rope, just learning double-unders, or wanna throw down whenever/wherever, this is gonna be your best bet.
- Our ropes are fast. Real fast… which also means the cable may sting (a bit) when it hits bare skin, so we recommend wearing shoes when you jump… trust us, we learned this the hard way.
